We offer a variety of services and can enter your journey at any point from start to finish tailoring the approach to specific needs.  We can help with Strategy Design linked closely to your company vision as well as improving team & overall business performance using Operational Excellence working directly with teams and managers.  If Process Improvement is what you are looking for, a programme of work can be designed to either address processes horizontally across your organisation or vertically in teams and departments.  I also offer Training as required tailored specifically for you.  This can be part of any approach mentioned or stand alone as required.

Strategy Design

We've all been there, 'We need a new strategy'...again. Bold statements sometimes made from those above to spur on the workforce. 
'What was wrong with last years', or 'I thought our strategy was this..' & 'what was the old strategy' are often heard rumbling in the background.  
Its one thing to have a vision, but that vision needs translating into practical day by day activities that the workforce (those delivering the 'strategy') can easily understand.  It needs to resonate, be believable and have a longer term view than just next week.  This is where we can help and have helped organisations before.  We have helped to translate strategic visions from CEO level down to the workforce so that they can see tactically what they need to do on a daily basis & how it links to the vision of the company, true alignment from top to bottom and vice versa.

Operational Excellence

A systematic approach that gets to heart of every team.  This approach is underpinned by a set of 10 tools & techniques that complement the management behaviours  that are coached to individuals in a highly engaging manner.  Defining a purpose for each team is the starting point before creating suitable balanced performance measures that the team can really have an impact on, on a regular basis (as oppose to the monthly management reporting measures that are often 6 weeks old by the time the team sees them).  Teams and individuals are taught how to manage their demand, resource, blockers to daily BAU activity and how to effectively problem solve.  This approach encourages improved teamwork not only within the team itself, but across the workforce and the 'greater team' of the organisation.  There is also a focus on standard processes to increase the consistency & reliability of the teams output & reduce risk.

Process Improvement

When looking at the 'Process' we can do this in one of two ways.  Either on a vertical 'Team by Team' basis tackling a team or teams at a time.  
Or, in a horizontal manner, a 'Value Stream',  where we cut across teams and follow the end to end process for a product or service. We can also join both of these up as a larger piece of work.  
Often starting a pilot with a relatively small team allows confidence to grow  both from the stakeholders and also the individuals within the business that are being coached by Bizimprove.  It also shows some early indications of the benefits that can arise for such an approach. 
After an initial scoping (to see the size of the prize or to help prioritize what teams / process to choose) the program of work would follow a Diagnose, Design, Test & Pilot before implementation.  Following this a 'Sustain' period would follow leading into Continuous Improvement (CI).  By which time teams are self sufficient in new ways of working
